Here's what our Founder & CEO, Shikha Shah has to say about The Missy Co. and upcoming trends in the Monsoon Edit of India Today Magazine.
Boxy silhouettes, athleisure, smart casuals and pantsuits in vibrant purple and a yellow inspired by passion fruit promise to add a dash of colour to a grey day. Outfits in PVC is the "hyper trend" says Shikha Shah, 23, who founded her online fashion label The Missy Co in October last year.
An alumnus of Raffles, Mumbai and University of The Arts, London, Shah has outfits for different moods and occasions from formal work wear in smart silhouettes to well fitting dresses for a date night. The label, she says, caters to everyone from a college-going teenager to a 45 year-old working woman.
In their online store, you can find sassy casuals for a day at the spa or brunch with friends, dresses for a romantic date and smart pantsuits for that all-important meeting. Shah sources the fabrics and has them designed and made at her in-house manufacturing unit in Mumbai. @themissyco
